Bhaveen Sheth -Diary of the Single Indian Male-Avoid the feeling of being left out or missing the opprtunity of Matrimony

My Dear Single Indian male,

Last week two events happened , one of my colleagues in the place where i work and who happens to be 4 years younger to me became and father and my room mate who again happens to be 27 years old got his marriage relation fixed through his family.

Plenty of Single Indian Men who have either missed out the opportunity of getting married or are not getting married may have gone through similar situations. There are times when you see that people who are younger to you are getting married , may of them have become fathers and mothers with tiny tots in their arms.

And there you are still single with no woman and child around you.

For all my single friends who are going through this feeling, please don't be disheartened, you are not the only person in Indian who is having such feelings, there are plenty others.

There no no need to be negative or be depressed, no need to blame your destiny or your parents. It is who you have chosen to be single no others. For those who are not finding a good matrimonial match and are getting depressed please understand that such things should not dampen your spirits. Allah is with those who show patience is the times of distress.

All I can say is that please keep yourself engaged with some activity and focus on it, set realistic goals and work on them and believe you will  feel better.

Now as to those friends of your who have recently become fathers and mothers, just congratulate them over the phone, make a short visit to the hospital and give a small gift. However please avoid those traditional ceremonies like baby shower and child naming, because at such occasions you might be questioned on your single status and even be humiliated for not making anty good use of your manhood, hence stay away fro such social occasions.

This is Bhaveen Sheth signing off for the day, will be back with some more.

Regards,

Bhaveen Sheth
